Does the SmartStart system require a Viper alarm to operate?

The Viper Smart Start will work as a standalone unit (utilising 4 outputs and 1 input) or in conjunction with a Viper Alarm (5902/5702/5202/3303/3302V). Please note that when used without a Viper alarm some functions may not be available.

Can I use Viper SmartStart with more than one vehicle?

Yes. Several vehicles can be linked to a single phone. A separate Viper system will have to be installed in each vehicle, but after that you can control any of your vehicles with any smartphone you’ve authorized.

Can I control my vehicle from more than one phone?

Yes. Users can be added by downloading the app on another smartphone and entering the User Name and Password for the account. Once the app is installed on the new smartphone, you can access all cars already set up on the account.

My remote is broken. How do I start my car?

To disarm your alarm without a remote you will need to enter your vehicle using your traditional key. The alarm will sound at this time. Once inside the vehicle locate your valet switch. Once you know where your valet switch is simply insert your key into the ignition cylinder, turn to the "run" or "on" position then tap the valet switch one time. Do not hold the switch, make sure it's a quick tap of the button. The alarm should stop sounding after a second or two and you should be able to start your car at that time.

How do I set up remote start on my manual transmission vehicle?

Assuming you have a newer remote start system that has manual transmission compatibility you can use the following process to enable the vehicle to remote start:

Park your vehicle and put the gear shift into neutral & Apply the emergency brake and release the foot brake

Activate remote start while the car is running off the key & After a few seconds have passed, remove the key from the cylinder and the car will continue to run

Exit the vehicle, Arm the vehicle & The vehicle will shut down upon arming and will be able to remote start as many times as you want until a door is opened or the alarm is triggered.

What is Tramigo T22?

T22 is the only tracking device that uses easy to understand landmarks to show it’s location. The location is determined by GPS satellites and you use a regular GSM phone to send and receive text messages from your T22. It is NOT a navigation device, but instead helps you keep your family, friends and assets safe.
